eve FOUNDERS
Robin Voss and J.J. Meier
Robin Voss, Co-Founder
Thirty-five years of experience in media development, business leadership, and a passion for social justice activism, ushers Robin Voss into her role as Co-Founder of EVE.
As an Executive Producer, her projects include the highly acclaimed “For the Bible Tells Me So”, a feature documentary that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. Its many achievements include nine major film festivals, Best Documentary audience awards, and inclusion on the short-list for Best Documentary at the 2008 Academy Awards.
Other film projects include Executive Producer of Teach Your Children Well, a short documentary delving into the horrific consequences of LGBTQ teens bullied at school, narrated by Emmy Award winning actress and comedienne, Lily Tomlin, and a role as advisor / mentor on another anti- bullying project, For Billy. Currently Robin is one of the Executive Producers on a new feature length documentary, True Believer premiering at the Cleveland International Film Festival in April 2024 and set for release summer/fall 2024.
J.J. Meier, Co-Founder
Combining more than twenty years in the talent sector of the entertainment industry and producer of multi-media and live events, J.J. also spent nearly a decade in the fast-pace realm of live shopping television in both the U.S. and Canada. With background since childhood in musical theater, J.J. has led a diverse career from live stage to both in front of and behind the camera. She now serves a Co-Founder and President of EVE.
In collaboration with her business partner Robin Voss, JJ has been instrumental in developing, acquiring, and producing content in the documentary space. JJ is a Co-Executive Producer on the feature length documentary True Believer and as co-founder of EVE is continually committed to bring content to the viewing audience that provokes conversation, promotes change, while providing an enriching entertainment experience.
Both Robin and JJ’s long tenure, alliance, and mission is to bring forth relevant collective and conscious content that uplifts, upholds, and empowers.
